Established in February 2005 in a small shed at Hope Island our business and reputation for great workmanship and ability to cater to all our clients grew; we moved our premises to Southport in May 2006 and then in 2014 Marine Mechanical Solutions moved to Boat Works Coomera where we are still going strong today.
The Director Rob Arnold is also a fully qualified Marine Mechanic and he too is on the tools, his passion and experience shows dedication to his business, staff and most of all boat owners. Everyone who has Marine engines can rest assure knowing they are in safe hands. All our Mechanics are fully qualified Marine Mechanics, and work on a diverse range of Marine Diesel, inboard petrol, shaft and stern drive engines and Generator Service, Install and Repairs.
We are Dealers for YANMAR Marine Diesel, MASE Generators, GORI Folding Propellers and Jabsco Pumps.
We also Service and Repair Volvo Penta, Caterpillar, Cummins,
Mercruiser and most other Marine Engines.
We also specialize in Cooling System Clean which allows your Cooling
System to work to its full efficiency without the removal of heat exchangers and units, in most cases this can cut your costs by half.

We left Southport last Thursday evening and got back to Sydney on Sunday morning. There were a few calm patches so we ran the engine a bit - it now has 13.5 hours on the clock. We ran it at around 3,000-3,200 RPM for nearly all of that so the first 10 hours of running in has been done well and truly within the manufacturer's recommendations. The engine ran very well with no problems.
We had quite steep head seas of about 2-3 metres for 12 hours on Friday, so the improved exhaust system has been put to the test.
Thank you both very much for your prompt and efficient service in the engine changeout. An event like this is a nightmare for a boat owner but I was in good hands with you.
